Community Action is a vibrant, proactive network focused on helping people, changing lives, and making America a better place to live. Community Action has long engaged in political activity to inform and encourage government to take greater account of the needs of low-income individuals. Community Action Partnership of Utah works to effect change and maintain good programs at the local, state and federal levels. Much of our effort is focused on the Utah State Legislature. Our efforts include providing our agencies, community partners, advocates and all who are interested with the latest news from the Capitol during special, interim and general sessions, as well as other important policy issues at the local and national level. There are a variety of ways you can keep informed about important issues and/or become involved in the political process. Our primary focuses are on housing policy, work supports, and asset building.
